    Palisade Oil Filter

I thought Hyundai started giving free oil/filter and tire rotation for the first 36,000 miles starting with 2022 Model year vehicles. Friend has a 2022 Ionic and has been in for 3 free oil/filter and tire rotation service visits and has not paid for any of them. He said they said to get change...

Going battery on the yard tools

Cujet Thanks for the information with picture of your Toro Self Propelled Personal Pace 60V Battery Powered Walk Behind . Interesting it is the same basic mower as the gas engine powered version except for the power-head. I agree Florida sand can wear a mower blade down quick. Is it quiet enough...

Kohler ECV980 EFI Air Cooled V-Twin Oil Choice - My plan below. Is there a better choice?

Good point. Now with Rotella T6 available in 15W-40 (used to only have T5 15W-40 at local stores) and my likely one change per year @ 2.1 quarts it is not much cost add to use T6.

Kohler ECV980 EFI Air Cooled V-Twin Oil Choice - My plan below. Is there a better choice?

Agree 38 HP is overkill. My 42 inch Cub Cadet Rider had Kohler M18 and did ok. Have used 52 inch Commercial Mowers with 23H?P carbed Kawasaki that used all HP in the spring with heavy growth. Interesting is at 4 hours use the 38 HP EFI seems to be at about 1 GPH which is similar to the M18 and...

Kohler ECV980 EFI Air Cooled V-Twin Oil Choice - My plan below. Is there a better choice?

My under 40 F starts are from leaf cleanups in the late fall and re-positing the mower in my unheated garage and shed. No fun using a mower with heavy coat, gloves, and winter cap

Thanks for the input. More 10W-30 suggestions than I expected. I do use Rotella T 10W-30 on my smaller single cylinder so it is always available. Thanks Slick

What made you buy a new lawn mower?

I bought the new ZTR to replace a 40 year old Cub Cadet that was my Grandfathers, then parents, then mine, and now my sons to use. Plus it was our anniversary and I wanted to give my wife an nice gift for putting up with me. Strange she has never used it yet. 🤣

    Michelin Hydroedge P215/55-16 availability

Are the Michelin Hydroedge tires being discontued or just certain sizes being eliminated? I am trying to get one Hydroedge P215/55-16 UPC 91T to replace one that has a non-repairable edge of tread nail hole. I purchased 4 of these tires about a year ago and have 19,000 miles on the set.
