While the Al looks on track in comparison to the UOA I posted for a 5k run, the Fe is pretty high indeed. It be interesting for you to try any other VW 507 to compare. I am sold on the LM product.

I've love to tell you to run an API CJ4/SM oil, but with the currnet emission system on the new VW gassers, I'd stick to a spec oil. SAPS come into play even in a gas engine. Dealer Castrol, M1 Ow40

Went WM to pickup m1 hm 10w40 for the BMW and noticed that all the jugs where labeled API SL and no ACEA A3 approval noted. Noted that the quarts still labeled with ACEA A3 rating. Then I noted that the 5w30 version was SL rated, jugs and quarts. Went to Pep Poys, same story, all HM verssions...
