Auto Rx on 91 civic, 188K

Use about 3 oz. as a maint. dose. My 92 Civic 1.5L had seal leaks. Maybe using 3 oz. mixed in with your oil might help reduce the burning? Give it a try, and post the results. P.S., my Honda engine also started performing alot better and I also started driving it hard after AR-Xing it.

    Filter Pics

Just pics of filters for a 20mmX1.5mm thread size. For a 92 Civic, 51344 was the only one that ended up fitting, for me.

How do you guys handle all the different sizes?

I use sheetrock sandpaper, the kind that looks like a screen, not the kind made from sand. I just hand tighten the filter a little tighter than spec'd, and I have never had a leak problem. I have used it to take off filters that were tightened by oil change garages, too. It's all I've ever used...

    PT Cruiser

My wife has a 2002 PT Cruiser. I use a PureOne PL30001 on it. It will fit just fine and you get alot more filter and oil in your system. It is the same filter size as a Motorcraft FL-1A. Give it a shot.

I know...j/k. Just kidding, Bill. But first you recommended an oversized fl400, then said not to use an oversized filter. What am I missing here?

    PT Cruiser

Oh no! I didn't realize what I've done. Please ignore my previous post. Don't use the oversized filter I recommened. I did not realize the gasket difference was that extreme. I'm very sorry. I'll have to change my oil filter now that I've been made aware of the "0.032 DIFFERENCE". Come now...
