54 week old LG refrigerator failure

What is OP's definition of "failure"? I ask because the vast majority of failures are with anything connected to adding outside water to the unit. Buy units without water, ice makers etc and they generally last.

How to remove spilled engine oil from alternator?

water won't wash oil away. You need a solvent. But honestly at this point, I would leave it be as you may cause more damage than it's worth.

Does Ford Have Too Many Engineers?

Sometimes the pencil pushers ARE engineers as well. Funny but if Farley wants higher efficiency he needs to start from the top down. It's the system Ford has created and it doesn't come from the bottom of the engineering ranks.

Very small new houses in Texas

It's about time. I have looked at the new home market since 1990. Never would go new as everything studiply big. As far as zoning restrictions, that is just plain wrong and immoral. The poor need a place to live just like the rest of us.

    Sam’s Club/Costco purchasing programs?

I just bought a Subaru Forester. I had one dealer offer the Costco program, would be at MSRP. I ended up getting the car from another dealer for $2000 UNDER MSRP. Waste of time.

Pros vs Cons I/O vs outboard

I/O's are great because it feels like your 300 lb buddy came along on the trip. They are just too heavy and reduce gas mileage too much.

Auto repossessions going up ! Almost 18% higher .

I know of a family where two single brothers and a sister and her husband are all on SSI disability and no, they don't work. The brothers did it for about 15 years, then the mother finally died and left them some inheritance. So no, people can and do live off of these types of programs. The one...

Auto repossessions going up ! Almost 18% higher .

These are cars less than 4-5 years old. If they needed any service at that age, I wouldn't be buying them anyway. Just oil changes are necessary.

Auto repossessions going up ! Almost 18% higher .

I have been predicting this for quite some time, but it's taken a lot longer than I had thought. This will finally break the back of the new car bubble.

What Plugs for 2008 Chevy 3500 Van?

I just replaced the originals on my 2008 RAV4, 113,000 miles. They were a bit fouled looking due to oil burning. Runs exactly the same after though. I honestly think the old could of just been cleaned up lol.
