100%. As I think I've said before, if Hertz had a few level 2 chargers at the rental facility and rented them at 80% full and recommended them for use of less than 200 miles and told people to not worry about recharging them, they'd do just fine.
Can't say it's the best way, but on my house interior they used this metal hanger strips and concrete screws. Don't know if it's suitable for exterior use.
I always hand tighten and then give it a half turn or a little more with a wrench. I tend to over-tighten a little. Oil filters and the filters housings are pretty rugged in my experience. Some of those quickie oil filter places will really tighten the filters. I wouldn't worry about it. I...
I listen to a lot of old time radio and there was an episode on this topic. Not that they had GPS back then but the episode was about a pilot who got lost and air traffic control was trying to get him orientated based on ground signals. It had to do with listening to beeps on the radio. Da-Di...
I forget the whole story, but i think they tried a dealer but they didn't have the code in the owners manual that the dealer needed. And it was a reason to buy something new so she didn't try too hard.
There is a certain irony to this story. While Boomers can balance a checkbook to figure out how much money is in their checking account, the younger generations can go online and access their bank app and see how much money the bank has in their account and see a listing of all the checks and...
I worked with a woman whose husband changed the battery in her Acura and they could never get the radio to work again. So, she sold the car. I have one of memory saver things in my car battery tools box.
I installed a gfci in my son's house and didn't screw in an unused side screw and it shorted in a tight metal box. Screwed in tight and taped up the sides and reset the breaker and all is good. Maybe some electricians/diyers tape up the sides as a matter of habit and don't mind the material...
Yes. I had to do this a few years ago. Tried to file myself and didn't understand a stock sale rules. I estimated and sent a big check and then went to a tax guy to figure it out. He was very impressed how close I came to what I owed.
I didn't realize the Police were old enough to be on 8-track.
We saw Cheap Trick in Vegas. We bought half price tickets and when they went to pick our seats, the guy in line in front of me was surly to the clerk. I was my nice friendly self and we got seats in the front row. It was during...
Between Apollo and Astro, i think the same thing is understood but perhaps different opinions on how tight the specs are. The fill level range is +/- ~60 mL out of a total fill of, I'm guessing, ~4000 mL at ~46°C. That is +/- 1.5%. That is a tight spec to me. It's tighter than specs on...
My in-laws have an Inogen G5. It's pretty easy to use even though they have issues understanding it. The battery life is not great. I'd look at the new Inogen G6 which claims a 12 hour battery. The G5 claims 6 hours but they only get about 2 hours out of it. You can carry spare batteries if...
If I bought that vehicle, and I've thought about it, I'd have the dealer change the oil through the warranty period. I don't have the same faith in those engines that I have in my Toyota, but that Santa Fe is a very nice vehicle.
