    Does new GTX still leave varnish if used for long periods?

    i meant castrol GTX manufactured since '01, standard white bottle. i read somewhere that "old" gtx left some discoloration in the valvetrain as well as on the dipstick if used for years and years. i was now wondering if GTX has been reformulated (now with sythetic guard?).
