Just wanted to thank everyone that has commented. Over at the Equinox/Terrain Forum there seems to be some positive posts on how GM is handling this. There are several GM factory people that monitor the forum and they have offered help in getting any "kinks" worked out with the dealer.

We have noticed an occasional rattle when starting the engine but it's not consistent. I wouldn't say it's noisy at idle but I was listening to it today and I could hear a few slight "rattles". Of course this can drive you crazy trying to judge if it's noisier today than a month ago...
