Well there was a coupon for conventional or full synthetic, but no part synthetic. We told them our make and model and told them we get synthetic blend and they charged us for the conventional.

bought an ac delco purge valve, changed it today in 10 minutes. Seems to have solved my issue. No more noise and the car is running better.

But the purge valve being faulty can cause a misfire right?

I placed a mechanics stethoscope right on the purge valve and sure enough that's it Is this something that should be repaired immediately?

I had the oil changed a few weeks ago. I've been noticing lately a slight clicking noise coming from the engine but it's very subtle until I open the hood, where it becomes much more obvious.
