    JD will not start

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. I feel that a shot of starting fluid would get it going but it appears I do not have any on hand . Will stop after work tomorrow and pick some up . Guess the idea with the JD mower is to not run it out of gas like other equipment. There is a hose on the...

    hand sanitizer

Thanks for the leads so far. not sure my wife would pay for the price of a gallon . she was surprised how much it cost and how hard it has become to find. When shortages first started trying to find the clorox wipes was tough but eventually she found some in the local stores . She bought a...

    hand sanitizer

Tried a couple more local places that "may " have had it in stock. no dice. I am sure my wife would not use the straight stuff as it is tough on skin , especailly since she has dry hands from the gloves. She does wear gloves as much as possible and that is another thing the hospital is...

    shooting at the range

My Dad is a real precision shooter and he always uses the bags or a vise type rest even hunting . Up until recently he has always done his own reloading . I never really got into the bags or even a bipod but could see the merits of having a more stable platform when hunting. Ipaln on having a...

    shooting at the range

Looking for some suggestions for shooting bags for the range . See some people using a shooting rest and or bags but that seems like a lot to carry with you every trip. Would be using mostly on an AR15. Also curious what everybody thinks on using a laser bore sight , is it worth it before the...

    diagnosing a/c problem

I opened up the aera for the cabin fliter and looked at the evaporator, looked clean and not much debris in there. Also opened up the grill and checked out the condensor and again not oil on it or glaring areas of damage or bebris. Took the truck out for a longer ride and here are the results...

    diagnosing a/c problem

Not sure how the system was charged , how would I check the blend door ? I did use the fuse to reset the mix between the floor and upper vents a couple years ago as the heat was mostly on the floor . Heat now blows more even between the floor and upper vents.

    diagnosing a/c problem

Thanks for the ideas so far . The original problem seems to have not been fixed by the recharge. The symptoms are the same and on a couple fishing trips ( before the recharge ) I would drive a little over an hor each way . Good reminder to check the cabin filter meaning to do that anyhow as...

    cut seat belt replacement

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. I for one would be more comfortable getting a new OEM set up for the dealer. my son has told me how bad the traffic is in his area plus he puts a good amount of miles on every year. Trying to not claim in on insurance to be sure his rates do not get...

    cut seat belt replacement

My son had somebody break into his car last night and cut the passenger side seatbelt. I do not like always going to the dealer for parts but since the seatbelt is so important looks like that would be his best option to buy a new oem one. Checked out changing the seatbelt in the Honda CRV...
