    Best Oil For Turbo engines

To the OP: Since you are getting the free oil changes for probably 2 yrs/24K miles, tell your service guy at the dealer that you want full synthetic (probably Mobil 1) and you will pay the difference. I do this at my dealer; he charges me a $20 upcharge for the Mobil 1 5W-30 - worth it IMO.

    Seahawks Richard Sherman= CLASSLESS

Don't be so quick to judge. It has been reported that this guy does much in the community and gives back to young people. His past teammates at Stanford have said that he's intelligent and was liked by his teammates. Granted, he got caught up in the moment; kind of understandable as he just made...

If I were you, weather permitting, I'd put my fanny on a bicycle seat and pedal the two miles.

GM to reprogram OLM's to reduce wear!

I agree with you, oldhp. I have looked at the dexos list and there are some strange brands on there, for sure. I'm only saying that I don't need any drama from GM if I should have a warranty claim, so I will be sticking with a brand on that list.

GM to reprogram OLM's to reduce wear!

No, Valvoline is not on the dexos1 approved list. Valvoline claims that they meet dexos standards which is different than appearing on the list.

    Kendall Now dexos1 Approved

I see that GM has now listed Kendall GT-1 5W-30 on their list of approved lubes (so I guess they've coughed up the fee): http://www.gmdexos.com/licensedbrands/dexos1licensedbrands.html I'm wondering, however, if this is the synthetic blend or the full synthetic; they're both referred to as...

GM to reprogram OLM's to reduce wear!

I have a 2013 GMC Terrain with the 2.4 and the OLM would hit 8K for the OCI. I received the letter stating the recall to reset the OLM just a couple of weeks ago. Will be going in soon to have it reset. I have been doing 5K intervals; I would never go beyond 5K.
