Hi Fellows, had a look at the OEM oil filter cartridge and found it to be of not good quality IMO. Lexus recommends changing it every 16,000 Kms (10,000 miles). Do any of you know of a "Better" quality unit, as IMO the OEM doesn't look like it would last that long. Or my impression was wrong...

Do any of you fellows know the specs of MB Shell Oil? I was at the MB dealer today and looked at the bottle but all it says is MB oil. Am wondering if I should stay with Mobil1 or let them use this Shell oil. I know that the change is due to commercial interests and not to performance.

Hi Fellows, MercedesBenz has this Mobil1 M oil which is good for 12 months or 20,000 Km, seems to be available only through dealers. My indy says says that the regular Mobil1 is good for 15K or 12 months. What say you? I value your opinion!
