    Dandruff Shampoo ?

I got a prescription for Ketoconazole 2% shampoo from my dermatologist. It's basically just a stronger version of Nizoral and is actually cheaper after insurance. I use it about once a week and it seems to work well.

Mobil Super Syn 5w-30 and P1 OCI

Thanks for the tips guys. Unfortunately I live in an apartment complex now and can't perform my own oil changes, so I'll buy a decent syn oil/filter combo and take it to my local mechanic. But yeah, the engine really does labor for how big the truck is. I'm definitely looking forward to...

Mobil Super Syn 5w-30 and P1 OCI

Hi guys, I'm an occasional lurker and rare poster on this forum. I just thought I'd get some input on my last oil change on my 2010 Nissan Frontier XE (2.5L 4 cyl). I last changed it in January with MSS and a P1 filter. I'm at a bit over 7700 miles on this oil change and am wondering if I really...

Advice on oil change maintenance 2004 Acura RSX

Hey guys! I'm just looking for a bit of advice. I currently help my mother, who lives about 5 hours away from me, out on basic maintenance on her 2004 Acura RSX (i.e. oil changes, cabin and engine air filters etc...) whenever I'm in town to visit. The car has about 160,000 miles on it and seems...

The beauty of early 90s luxury cars

My second car was a 1996 Infiniti I30 that I purchased in 07. I bought it for about $3500 with 120,000 miles on it. It drove like a champ for three years with few problems until the exhaust system and suspension [censored] out making it cost prohibitive to keep. I still miss that car. Long live...

getting the "new(to me)"car fever again....

I would definitely not buy the rental....especially with that many miles on it. I used to work for a rental car company that starts with an "e" and ends with an "e" and customers (and even some employees) would beat the heck out of the cars. While we would keep maintenance records on the cars...

    Corolla vs. Civic

Thanks for the input, guys. I figured I would get a decent split of opinions! My brother has driven my Civic a fair share, so I don't think he'd really need to test drive one. It looks like Mazda has some great deals on remaining 2013's, but my brother rented one a few months ago and didn't...

    Corolla vs. Civic

So my brother is looking to buy a new fuel efficient car in the next couple of months and has pretty much narrowed it down to getting a 2013 Civic or a 2014 Corolla. I'm trying to help him research vehicles and find what would be the best fit. I bought a new Civic about 6 months ago, so I'm...

    Oil filter suggestion

Thanks for the response, Greg. Unfortunately I live in an apartment complex now and can't change the oil myself. With my previous vehicle, I would just buy whatever the best synthetic oil change bundle Advance, Autozone, or Napa offered and pay my mechanic $15 bucks to change it. Now that I have...

    Oil filter suggestion

Hello all, I just got the first oil change done (at the dealer's expense) on my 2013 Honda Civic LX, but I'm already planning my second oil change. I've pretty much settled on just having my trusted local mechanic do the oil change with Napa brand Synthetic motor oil since they have quarts of...
