Is it normal to have a new outer tie rod at a slight angle? The one on the left is straight but the right one is tilted a bit? I've never installed a tie rod before. :unsure:

Just bought a 2016 CX5 and looking into some maintenance. The OEM Mazda Filter looks pretty basic and doesn't have/need an ADBV. Fram's EG is rated at 10k OCI and the TG at 15k OCI. Leaning towards the Fram TG since I do 7.5k OCI. What do you think?

Changing the oil on a '09 G37 w/ 52k this weekend. As his bumper sticker states, he "drives it like he stole it." So the choices are Mobil 1 5w-30 or German Castrol 0w-30. Aside from small MPG gains, any benefit to trying the Castrol? The price between the 2 are only a few dollars.

Has anyone tried one of these? Friend bought one for his Tundra and the quality looks pretty good BUT he says the oil pressure, which was always constant (in the middle of the gauge) at idle is now dropping slightly and "bouncing around" below the mid point of the gauge. - Perhaps too much...

Helping a friend change fluids on an E60 BMW and found out that the Transmission is "Sealed" for life..... is this becoming a common practice? and You think I should break that seal?
