Nokian Outpost APT or Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail for '16 Renegade Trailhawk?

Outpost APT or Firestone Destination AT2 or Yokohama GEOLANDAR CV 4S Lightest weight, 3PMS rated, and have the "aggressive" sidewall look. Pretty sure all the other recommendations in this thread are heavier weight (worse city MPG). Why are K03s even being talked about? I don't see them in the...

Bought new wheels for the Tahoe (again!)

bigger is not always better Glad my Maverick has 17s on it; slightly bummed our Sienna has 18s and not 17s.

    2021 Sienna - Can I use 0w-20 permanently?

We're thinking of buying a Scamp to tow with our Sienna Woodland, and I thought that upping the oil to 0w20 would be a good call. This thread reassures that. We've already lost some mpg up sizing our tires (235/65r18 from 235/60), but gained 1/2" clearance. With coil spring air-helper bags...

Nokian One HT vs Michelin Defender LTX M/S2

I highly doubt the Michelins are $400 better. I wouldn't hesitate on the Nokians.

20” wheels on an AWD car? Why?

I miss our old (2021) Prius Prime and my 2016 VW Sportwagen - 195/65r15 Great, cheap tire size! My Maverick has 17s from a Bronco Sport, and our AWD Sienna has 18s. Would have preferred 17s, but not worth the cost to hunt down the LE wheels. Recently upsized our tires and gained 1" diameter, so...

Interesting. Not a whole lot of reviews of the ATP, good to know!

    Yokohama Geolander CV4S review

We put these on our 2023 Sienna AWD hybrid, "woodland" edition. Also upsized, so we gained 1/2" ground clearance. Two week Canadian snowboarding road-trip with zero issues; no struggle at any point of the drive. Snow, slush, hard-pack, slick stuff, etc. Great tires. The choice came down to...

Nokian Outpost APT All-Weather (Winter) Review

Sun Peaks had good snow (pic location), but it's less steep than the other resorts - was a good warmup spot for us. Was a bit early season for the terrain park too, I think. Should be good conditions when you guys visit! (Visibility was tough for most of our days this trip)

Nokian Outpost APT All-Weather (Winter) Review

CV 4S had no issues the last two weeks. Central California to OR/WA, then to Sun Peaks, Revelstoke, Lake Louise, Banff Sunshine, Panorama, SLC and back home. MPG down a bit, but also 3% larger than stock, willing trade-off for the winter performance.

    Sumitomo Encounter AT All Weather

More trash on the side of the road or micro particles in our air. I'd pull them off if the shop didn't. Don't be lazy - put trash in its place.

Anyone have experience buying tires from tire agent?

Holy Carp - that's a crazy deal combined with your CC % too!!! (they both will apply towards the order total $, so you'd get 50% - jealous here)

Anyone have experience buying tires from tire agent?

I used them a few months back with a 15% cashback deal. No problem. New Yokos that have only been out for a year-ish, so no comment on date codes. (Geolandar CV 4S G061 - trying them in snow soon) Also found another coupon (J823) and cashback click-through with either Rakuten or BeFrugal -...

Any experience with Continental Cross Contact ATR-Mild off road tire.

Yep! I swapped out my Maverick hybrid XL steelies with a set of take-offs from a Bronco Sport Big Bend - came with the 225/65r17 ATRs. Perfect setup actually - probably a bit less MPG than my OEMs, however the tires "look" more at home on a "truck". lol They are still quite lightweight, and...

    Hankook Kinergy PT Review

I ran plenty of the H727/H737 (previous version of 'kinergy') tires on my vehicles and mom's commuter. No issues. Long lasting, very cheap with multiple rebates at the time (like $240 + install, cheap), way better value than anything else. Wore even and long lasting. *shrug*

Anyone used Peddle to sell a car? (Or have suggestions)

I believe I used Peddle a few years back when I finally convinced my mom to junk the 2004 Elantra. Got $4-500 I think. Just ran the numbers for a 2015 VW Golf, 206k miles, too big of non-running issues to deal with fixing again (also cracked windshield) - they just offered $1400. Gonna confirm...

Nokian Outpost APT All-Weather (Winter) Review

OEM is 235/60r18 Bridgestone Turanza LS100 6.9" ground clearance Going to 235/65r18 gives a bit more sidewall (vs OEM and matches 235/65r17s) and a 1/2" "lift". Not worth spending $ on wheels, from what I've seen. Not wanting to go with a lift kit either. 2-3" ones are available. Both could...
