    2024 Subaru WRX TR

I’d call one of those vendors or check their site. Should be able to give you all the info you need. I’m not sure what wheels you have, but if you have the 17 inch wheels, it’s possible that those brakes may not fit. You may need to get larger wheels for clearance.

Should be able to directly swap on some Brembos from an STi, no?

I hope you end up deciding to tune it! I have heard that the 2.4 L engine has crazy potential. Since it is way understressed in stock form.

I use the 0W-30 ESP in my N, but I don’t track it. If I did, I’d like the extra margin of protection of the X4. And I believe that’s ExxonMobil’s premier oil currently. Not too bad of a deal at AutoZone for $11.99/qt. And there is a rebate offer on it as well (from AZ). Oil temps on that...

    2024 Subaru WRX TR

For street+track use on the same oil, I’d go with M1 ESP 0W-40 X4. Fewer SAPS may keep intake tract cleaner (TGDI). “One oil to rule them all” Auto Zone carries it

    2024 Subaru WRX TR

Nice! The Brembos are just what the WRX needed. I bought a 2016 WRX new and owned it for 3 years. No track use, but drove it pretty hard in the mountains and on backroads. The brakes were wholly inadequate for the speeds and cornering ability it was capable of. Really enjoyed the flat...

Well I screwed up my yard in a big way today

Here’s hoping the effect is not as extreme as you’re thinking. Sorry man. Let us know how it goes.

    Photo Thread for Unusual Vehicles

Cool car, but “holy grail”? That’s a bit much, i think. This is just a tarted up Accord coupe, isn’t it. And the styling is not as compelling as its predecessor (the Legend). Holy grail of Honda? That would be the NSX (NOT the latest version that they ruined with hybrid crap)

2018 Toyota Sequoia Castrol Edge 0W-30

Eh, I think any effect would be negligible with a healthy engine.

Only, possibly, if it’s burning oil

    Looking for new zero-turn

Yeah, that pedal is handy to float the deck over roots, curbs, hills & rises, to keep from scalping.

    Looking for new zero-turn

I’ve been really happy with my Gravely ZT/XL 42” deck with Kawasaki FR651V (21 HP) and HydroGear ZT-2800 serviceable transaxles. Good unit for the $$$. It’s sort of a “pro-Sumer” model. It’s a residential mower but the components are a step above a big box store model, and it has a 4-year...

MolaKule Q&A on Aircraft Structures VII Engines

My understanding is that the chevrons are for noise abatement. How this works, I can’t explain. The engine core (but not the aft fan cowl, as in that GENX) on the CF34, as used on the Embraer E-Jet, has this design. But I would guess that they reduce thrust, compared with a non-chevron design.

Efficiency Info on the New Mobil 1 Filter

Didn’t you or someone else say that the PG and its rebrands are 99% @ 20 microns and 99.5% @ 25 microns? I think someone called for clarification?

    K&N KN-650, KTM Duke 790 , 3k mi

That’s a fast Harley! I rode a 96ci Softail once and it felt quick. That was back when 88ci was standard and 96ci was “big bore”.

    K&N KN-650, KTM Duke 790 , 3k mi

Cool bike! From time to time, I’ve entertained the idea of getting something like that, that would be fun in the corners but not tempt me to ride at 120 mph like my old R1! You should post some photos of the bike.
