Help on adjusting rpm on Honda GC

What is the best why to adjust engine speed on a Honda GC160? I know on a standard Briggs and Stratton you can just tighten up the governor spring. Is this how it is done on the Honda too? Mine engine is running at around 2900-3000 rpm. I’d like to set it closer to 3200. Thanks. HEV

SF HDS-5 in Jeep ZJ D35c LS

I recently replaced the gear oil in my Jeep Grand Cherokee (Dana 35c w/limited slip) with SFs HDS-5 GL5 in 75W-140. So far, I’m very impressed. I have no audible gear whine with this lube. The gear oil I replaced was Schaeffer’s 80W-90. The Schaeffer’s was in service for about 30K miles and held...

    New Honda Mini-Tiller (FG100)

I was at Home Depot yesterday just browsing the Lawn and Garden Section. I happened to notice a broken down, dilapidated Honda box with various parts sticking out. On closer inspection, it was a brand new FG100 Mini-Tiller with the 1.5 hp GX31 motor. I tracked down the department manager and...

Honda Forgeries – Anybody else see these???

I stopped in at Kragen’s today to check out a pressure washer they had in their weekly ad. I was shocked when I looked at it. It looked to have a Honda GX series commercial grade engine. On closer inspection, it was like looking a forged $20 bill. It was a nearly exact Chinese knock-off. It was...
