    Hyundai Veloster N Oils?

Hello! I have been a very long time lurker (off and on through several years), and have bought a new Hyundai Veloster N! So far absolutely love the car and plan on driving the [censored] out of it. As soon as I got home of course I had to read through the owners manual and look at...

    Focus ST Oil

So, new car!!! Since I bought this car new today, I figured its a reasonable enough time to ask if anyone has experience with this car? Any recommended oils/weights that work better, and interval? Its been hard to find many UOAs so I wasn't sure if I just suck or if they are that rare. Still...

    Rotella T5 15w40

Just as an update, I put the T5 15w40 in my bike today and took it for a nice long ride and it felt beautiful! Definitely my new go to oil, especially since its over half the price of the Valvoline 4T I was previously using. Hopefully itll keep up a good shift feel for at least 3k.

Castrol POWER1 Racing 4T or Valvoline SynPower 4T?

I have the Valvoline 4T 10w40 in my FZ6 right now and like it a lot. Haven't noticed any differences in shifting in 4k miles of riding. Would definitely use it again without hesitation, but also have no experience with the Castrol oil yet. Take that for what its worth.

    Rotella T5 15w40

So, saw this at Walmart the other day and decided to give it a try. Haven't put it in my bike yet (2007 FZ6), but noticed nothing about this oil exists online. Is it just really new? I will have to test a UOA of it, but that probably won't come until later this year. Has anyone tried this...

    Considering a newer car... Opinions?

So, been recently thinking about upgrading from my Yaris. Nothing really wrong with the car, but would like an upgrade after about 6 years with this car. Things like cruise and bluetooth would be nice. And more power. I'm open to other options as well, and experiences with any cars/related would...

    AC Delco 0w-20 Synthetic Blend

I've used it once and seemed fine. If you've used Synpower no problem before, I wouldn't let no moly in it scare you away. There are other friction modifiers out there that may work just as well or dare I even say, better?

    2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650

So, I am most likely coming home with this bike today. One thing I want to do when I get it is change the oil/filter (it is close to the 7500 mile maint.) Does anyone have any recommendations? I was eyeing the Valvoline Syn 10W40 4-stroke oil. From my little research it seems that most people...

Corolla will now be built in Mexico...

Just FYI, most Corolla's are built in the USA in the Mississippi plant (TMMMS). I believe their annual capacity is right around 150,000. I think its close to 90% of Corollas are made at that facility. Originally Posted By: NHGUY So they cant say "Made in USA" anymore...or say its more American...

    New brake recommendations

I have a friend at work who is rebuilding an old car, so I may ask for his help... so new question- if I need them, any recommendations on rotors/pads? Thanks!

    New brake recommendations

According to NTB I do, I honestly don't know enough about brakes to determine that. I don't hear any squealing and still have plenty of braking power, but I would still like to have at least the pads replaced within the next few month as I would rather be safe.

    New brake recommendations

Hello all, I recently visited a NTB and while they rotated my tires, they took a Look at my brakes. I almost have 120,000 miles on my car with the factory brakes and they agreed they should be replaced. My only issue is that they wanted almost 1000 for new pads, rotors, and rear shoes and...

    Mobil 1 0w40 in Yaris?

Thanks for your input guys. I might get a UOA with my current fill of Castol 5w20, and then another one for the 0w40 if I do decide to go that route. My main concern is the noise and the highway rpms, which can be up to 3500. In general, how long does it take the Blackstone sample kits to ship...

    Mobil 1 0w40 in Yaris?

I'm contemplating trying M1 0w40 in my car this spring/summer/fall. It has the 1NZ-FE 1.5L engine originally spec'd for 5w30 and back spec'd to 5w20. I've tried several oils varying from synblends to synthetics, and have noticed that all Xw20 oils seem louder while driving on the highway. For my...

    Good tire on a budget?

Not sure if they make it in your size, but I have been very happy with my Hankook Optimo H727's. They have about 20k miles and still drive and look new. They provide decent traction in dry conditions, slightly worse then my previous Cooper tires, but they are much better in rain snow and ice. I...

    Changing coolant

According to my owners manual, its time to get my coolant changed in my 2007 Toyota Yaris. My local dealer will change it for around $130, before taxes and whatever else they feel like adding on. I've heard that many dealers will just do a drain and fill, which for that price I have considered...

    Pennzoil Syn Blend

So, on the Walmart website, they have their dexos approved 5w30 synblend for $4.47, for a six pack? Does anybody know if this is a mistake? I ordered two of them for $9.64 with tax (about 80 cents per quart), which would be great as that's 3 oil changes for my car.
