I misspoke and should’ve said lab glassware

Good to hear, I about doing the same with some lab equipment a while back but didn’t want the neighbors to think I was cooking up meth in the garage. More of just a fun project than practical, thankfully we have many easy sources for ethanol free pump gas.

You don’t have any issues with the octane being too low from the lack of ethanol? I figured it would be a few numbers under 87 with it stripped.

One of these F22 Honda engines (same as yours) had 30k original miles at the time of the timing belt (2013ish) and the other had 100k original miles. Can you guess which is which? (It's not the one you expect) That dirty F22 still ran great, and my clean specimen is still running today...

I change my oil when it’s been long enough and I’m bored. Seems to be 3k to 7.5k depending on time of year. Always syn because my engine is not a peasant and deserves “quality” oil. Aka just because I can.

I’ve run Delo, T6, and now have been running MC, they all make the typewriter noise for the first 1000 miles or so.

I just got a couple of those TG filters from Walmart for .75 cents

My last OCI i spun one on with a small dent in the bottom. I’ll run it 5k then post comparison shots with the MC. It’ll be a few months though. Stay tuned.

We still use SAE 40 in marine environments. Just recently have they decided to go to a 15-40 in our Caterpillar and Cummins engines. Still 40 weight in all the DDs and EMDs
