    E3 spark plugs : RC12YC : anyone use these ?

Last year I grabbed an E3 because it's all they had that fit my mower at the time and I didn't feel like going everywhere to find a plug. The only thing I noticed was my push mower seemed to use less gas. I dunno that I'd chalk it up to the E3 or just being a new plug in general. Other than that...

The Jeep Cherokee Classic appreciation thread

I had a 2 door 93 sport and a 98 sport. The only issue I ever had with the 93 was the AC went out around 120k and the Rear main oil seal started leaking around 130k, then I traded it with 150k for the 98 which had 76k at the time. I drove the 98 all the way out to 160k. The only thing wrong...

    switching from 5w20 to 5w30?

Ive run 5w20 & 5w30 in a 3.0 duratech's in a tribute & mazda6, the only difference between the 2 is the motor was quieter with 5w30. Everything else, namely mpg remained the same.

    Michelin LTX A/T2 vs M/S2

Ive run both the LTX AT & LTX MS on my jeeps over the years. I like both tires and you cant really go wrong with either. The MS's were slightly quieter on road.

not bad at all, I run the MC 5w20 syn blend & MC 820s filter in my mazda6s. Cant beat a sub $20 oil change with quality stuff.

Should I Continue Using LCD Products?

The coils mazda uses on the 6 aren't very strong. It is a fairly common problem for older, high mileage 6's with the coils to start dropping MPG's because the coils aren't outputting like they are supposed to. They've also been known to be the cause of misfire CEL's while at high rpm's.

A lot of mazda guys across all platforms tend to use the Redline MT90 in their gear boxes. It's what I run in my mazda 6.

I just got thrown out of a dealer here!!!

I didnt read every single post, but honestly if you want a resolution and to really get the bad press out about the dealership call your local news stations. They often have departments of reporters specifically tasked with stories such as this.

Jeep 4.0, thinking of doing 1 year o/c's

I used to run 1 year oil changes which equated to 10-12,000 mile OCI's with FL1A filters and Mobil 1 0w40. Jeep was still running like a top at 140,000 when I bought a new car.

    Best A/C for hot climates

Of the cars Ive owned, the 93 cherokee was the best AC when it worked. Of course it started leaking and eventually wouldn't hold freon to save its life and became a 2/70 AC system. Of course that was still an R-12 system. Of our 2 cars now, a mazda 6 and a mazda 3, the 6 has great AC but the...

Filled up on Shell V-Power with Nitrogen this week

I run the "new" shell gas, but then again since shell is priced the same as all the other gas around here, it is the only gas I've run in my mazda since I bought it back in 07. I haven't noticed anything different with the "new" gas versus the old gas.

Thank God for the Reese hitch!

When I still had my lifted cherokee, Id always leave a d ring recovery adapter in the receiver. I had 2 people who werent paying attention run into it and have nice d-ring impressions on their hood/bumper and no damage to the jeep. Granted the d-ring didnt stick out nearly as far as a ball hitch...

10% ethanol in gas now??? i saw at the pump...

They've had it for a while here in MD as well. One time out of state with my mazda6(v6), and non 10% ethanol gas I got a touch over 30mpg for the 2 tanks that had real gas versus the 28-28.5 I see with MD's 10% blend. Haven't had non blended since tho.
