Thanks for the C&P my friend! Looks good, my only gripe is the universal sizing they use. I’ve used VIOC over the years if I didn’t have time in a pinch. Or when we lived in an apartment years ago. Not a huge deal, bringing your own filter solves it and they usually give you money off the oil...

Thanks for the C&P sir! Seen a few of the lower Fram made filters get wide spacing towards the seam. But it didnt tear and it did the job.

The Autozone deal is “ok” with just the oil and oil filter. But adding the CAF with it makes it pretty good at that point.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never used an H&K, I need to try one out.

My go to will forever be a Glock 19. The smoothest trigger imho is a Sig P226/P229. My current off duty/concealed carry gun is a Springfield Hellcat. I’m also impressed with Walther at the moment. I picked up a PPQm2, man it’s a nail driver out of the box.

It says there that “if operating at high speeds or under load” a higher grade may be used. So I guess just claiming you drive all highway would be enough to warrant using a 20w anyways.

Has anyone had an issue with Toyota denying a warranty from using 0w20 in place of the 16?

My father in law has had 3 of these an 05 with 300k and a 2012 with 200k+ and an 18 with about 70k. He used nothing but Castrol GTX in the first 2 and they both were all varnish down the fill cap but ran like a top and didn’t really use much oil. Synthetic oil would probably keep it cleaner but...

Interesting, that’s good to know. In store here it’s the PG version of the filter. So I’ll steer clear from ordering them online.
