    Amazon changes AGAIN reviews...............

I quit giving reviews on Amazon when I was trying to leave a review for a set of Imore earbuds that I was replacing. Went to leave a review and got the message “we are not accepting reviews on this item from this account”. So for giggles I got on chat to ask why. If you ever get on Amazon CS...

Downsizing elantra to 16 inch wheels? Dealers giving mixed answers

It will work fine as long as the overall diameter is the same. Which, in this case, it seems to be. I did this exact thing on a 2014 Elantra a few years ago. Had absolutely no issues. The highest cost was getting the tire monitors swapped over. The ride quality will be noticeably smoother.

Engine blew up in the shop.

This is a classic “Kobayashi Maru” scenario. The shops gonna get the blame no matter what. One of those “it’s never knocked or made strange noises before I brought it in” type of deals. Unless the guy is a stand up, seems you have two choices: used engine on the shops dime, or send him out the...

    Faking status for military discounts

“Dependapotamus" is military slang term for a dependent or spouse (usually jobless) who is perceived as lazy, usually overweight, entitled, and entirely reliant on their partner’s service benefits. The term blends "dependent" and "hippopotamus", often demanding they get treated accordingly to...

Old Car With Low Miles Going On A Long Trip

Brake fluid, definitely. Transmission fluid, drain and fill if you're gonna do it. Tires are new, so just PSI on them, and I'd swap out that belt.... It's 17 years old. Check hoses. Inspect the air filter, it's probably as old, also. Press on with pride.

2013 Kia 2.0L T-GDI, cold start noise identification?

That dipstick is varnished pretty bad. I'd continue to use the Valvoline Restore and Protect, and keep nursing it along. Looks more like timing chain rather than rods, by the descriptions so far.

Air Conditioner Auto Dry is currently on, 2025 Genesis

Wife's KONA has the same feature. Made me scratch my head when it first came on, but it does work. A/C never has that funk on start up.

Change Hyundai Oil Or Not ?

I have had great success running 5K intervals and 5w-30 on the 2.4L. The Valvoline Restore and Protect would continue to do great, being left in for the trip.
