These TBIs are not hard to rebuild. Get the AC Delco gasket kit and take your time. Very simple. First one I did help cure a throttle tip in stall. With new gaskets and same injectors I was amazed how the spray pattern changed for the better
I know in NYS its the law to charge tire disposal anytime u buy new tires. U actually get charged tire disposal when u buy a new car. The logic is that u will eventually have to dispose of the that tire
As far as not wanting to put a different size on many places are now starting to adopt that...
Very Nice.
The van will feel slower than your old van due to the torque managment. Also the trans likes have what feels like a funky downshift from first to second. It will scare u at first but u get use to it and maybe it gets smoother as it breaks in.
Hope they do an alignment after they...
That video shows exactly what he did on the car.
Also the reason the old bearing failed. It was old and wasnt gonna be happy taking a beating/seperating
Because of that design the bearing was opened up in the process of replacing the studs.
Your bearing was probably on its way out anyway but obvisouly not that soon.
I would have told u that u should replace the bearing while we doing the job. Would have killed two birds with one stone
A roof reskin isnt really that difficult if done by a good shop. SInce u trust this shop u should be ok.
If u dont like it dont accept the car back when its done. Tell ur insurance company it wasnt fixed properly and u will be fine
Double end capped is the second generation of PAG oil. They dont absorb moisture like the original PAG do.
If u stil have the bottle it should say it on the bottle.
The ones with the 5 1/4 have and adapter in the door to fit them in the 6 1/2 hole size in the door. Most EX had the 5 1/4 and the lx and dx had the 6 1/2
Have seen HF torches blow up at the cutting head. They do cut well and heat nicely when working but after seeing one blow up at the head have always been too scared to use
I like Smith torches the best.
A seperate ac/ox tank works the best.
Looks like spark Plug Wire is no good.
Have to remove the wire look down the hole and get a long needle nose and pull the piece of wire that is probably stuck onto the spark plug
Probably will have to replace the plug afterward too
