I'm just worried if it uses oil when new what will it use when it has 70 or 90,000 miles on the odometer.

Wondering what you all thought of what you think is normal oil usage for newer vehicles these days. I have a 2023 Chevy Equinox 1.5 liter turbo with 17,000 miles and it has used approx. 1 quart of oil per 5,000 miles since new. Do you think this is normal?

Debian is great, nice solid and reliable but often not the best choice for someone with newer equipment. I currently am dual booting Windows and Debian but no support for sound on my laptop. Fedora on the other hand will probably support my equipment much sooner. So I have my fingers crossed...

My current HP Laptop will not support sound on Linux so I am stuck with windows until the kernel catches up to the hardware. I can still use Bluetooth audio. I'm slightly optimistic that the next release of Fedora will solve my problem as I really dislike windows.

I think they are going to the windshield sticker more to prevent people from switching it from car to car. Just my opinion....

I was thinking that maybe the manual was printed before a fluid was decided on?

Looking at my 2023 Chevy Equinox AWD owners manual and I see that it does not list what type of fluid to use for the transfer case and rear end. All it says is see your dealer. 1. Why wouldn't they state what to use? 2. Anyone know what it takes?

My daughter called it the cadillac converter for ever until her room mate corrected her a few months ago She's 22. I never had the heart to correct her. :-)
