    No additives. Any quality oil will work TBH. If the engines are clean and well maintained then you are doing the best you can already.

    Full synthetic Dex6 GM branded is good stuff. I got some off Amazon last year. Works well, and you can't go wrong.

    I haven't had good luck with Maxlife. I only use Dex 6 in my GM products.

    Don't try the starter trick please, it won't work. That crank pulley bolt is going to require heat. Sometimes it takes a few heat cycles to get it to come loose.
