I use a water oil cooler on my car. Works really nice and dropped oil temp 50 degrees. Plus the oil heats up faster. Of course your cooling system has to be capable to handle the heat.

I use Amsoil 5w30 tractor hydraulic fluid in mine. Rear diff that is.

I wonder if amsoil is using their wind turbine oil technology in these oils. The MSDS basically shows nothing. Very low volatility. 🤔

Pour point of -56 is impressive for sure but kinda meaningless. Amsoil 15w40 DME has a pour point of -40. It's CCS at -20 is 4000 HPL has a pour point of -56 but a CCS of 4300 at -20. So the amsoil flows better even though the pour point is higher.

Interesting that the magnesium dropped from 1935 in your VOA to 1489.

When did HPL start making small engine oil?? I asked Dave about a small engine oil and He told me to use 5w40/15w40 diesel oil.

I thought Dave from HPL recommended changing the oil filter every 5,000 miles....🤷

I've used the "silver bottle of death' for 10 years in all my 2 stroke equipment. They all run perfectly.

I use those on my lawn mower. They seem To work ok I recon.

Their 20w50 racing oil had an HTHS of 6.8

I bet a lot of drag race and stock car teams use HPL oil. Good enough for me.

The specs on Amsoil 5w30 look pretty stellar to me. Oxidation of 60= serious amount of esters. This ain't no Walmart shelf special. 🧐 I really like their Signature Series 15w40 diesel oil with a HTHS of 4.5.

I think Amsoil makes a lot of good products. I like their: 0w40 powersports 5w30 tractor hydraulic fluid 15w40 SS HDEO Universal red grease Diesel treatment PI treatment. Plus you support American workers.

No a waste of money is going to Star Bucks every day.

LM seems to work best in your car with the least amount of wear metals. Why not just stick with that?
