Here is my recent UOA. Doesn't seem that bad, other than viscosity, which was expected. Been using my free maintenance plan up to this point. Will probably switch to RT6. No way I'm going 7k miles on this engine, 5k max.

Have oils/engines tolerances really gotten this good nowadays? I would never think to go 10k OCIs on my older cars, but being told to do so on my Subaru boggles my mind. I guess I'll try it out.

This is an oil report from Blackstone Labs on my 2009 Subaru Legacy. I had the blue bottle Chevron 5W30 dino oil in the engine for 7736 miles. I switched to Rotella T6 5W40 on the oil change I took this sample, and as such, I'm unsure how long I should run it. What do you think?
