Put Bilstein 5100 on my 2019 Tacoma

The Rancho shocks on my 2020 Silverado RST were crap and completely shot in less than 40k miles. Got Bilstein 4600s all the way around, and it's like driving a new truck. You don't realize how bad your old ones were until you're riding on Bilsteins!

Vevor Tools - What Is Your Experience?

We have the same wagon, and it's great! That's the only product I've purchased from Vevor, but I might try one of their vacuum sealers in the future.

Which oil is good for my Commercial Kohler Command 23hp engine? I have API specs

I use Kawasaki semi-synthetic 20w-50 in my Bad Boy with FX691V. The Kawi oil supposedly has 1,200 ppm of zinc. I'll keep using it for sure until my warranty is up in another year. I live in Lower Alabama, so it is hot down heuh!

VP 2 cycle synthetic at Walmart

I went to Echo Red Armour recently and my two chainsaws (Stihl and Shindaiwa), pole saw (Echo), string trimmer and hedge trimmer (both Kawasaki) have never run better! Ratio is about 45:1 because I spilled a little gas.

Considering purchasing a Toro Zero Turn

I had a Scag Freedom Z with Briggs 26hp ELS engine for 19 years. It was still running fine, but it had zero suspension and was killing my back. I gave it to my nephew, who is still running it, and bought a Bad Boy Maverick HD with suspension system and suspension seat with a Kawi FX691V. It was...

    Two-cycle oil Formulations

Don't know if this contributes to the conversation but once had a Mercury 175 two-stroke outboard that slung a rod through the crankcase. Mercury sent me a new powerhead. My mechanic said he drilled out the carburetor jets to make sure plenty of fuel was hitting the pistons to keep it from...

    Buying a new String Trimmer

Just had a Walbro carburetor kit installed on my Kawasaki KTFR27 string trimmer, and it's still a beast. Too bad they got out of the two-stroke engine business because of all the regulations.

    kawasaki engine oil

It gets real hot here in LA (Lower Alabama) so I'm running Kawasaki 20w-50 semi synthetic with Kawasaki 721 filter. I might try the Kawie 15w-50 in the future.

First riding mower; Husqvarna with Kawasaki

Because I live in the Deep South, I use Kawasaki 20w-50 with Kawasaki 721 filter on my Bad Boy Maverick HD with Kawasaki FX691V.

Chevy specialists, need help. 2020 Silverado won't shut off

Sorry, missed your post. My truck is still running fine. The DC converter was the problem. The check engine light popped up on a test drive, which led to replacing the fuel relay.

Most miles on a set of brake pads

Rear pads on our '21 Mercedes GLE 350 had to be replaced at 40k. Of course, it's lot larger, heavier vehicle.

My bad Doc, you are correct.

Looking at older BMW 5 series E39 up to E60

We had a 2004 E60 530i (M54) with adaptive steering and suspension. I loved driving that car. It took corners like it was on rails. We currently have a 2011 528i (last year for the M54) that has been quality vehicle with 117k miles. Had to replace the starter, but it's been reliable.

    New tires and shocks

Just put Michelin Defender LTX tires and Bilstein 4600s on my 2020 Silverado, and it's like driving a brand new truck. I hated the Rancho OEM shocks. Definitely a huge upgrade!

    Regular vs Premium Gas Pricing

On weekend trip to my niece's wedding, filled up with premium for the first time in forever at less than $3 a gallon at Buc-ee's in Pass Christian, MS. It was $2.99.9. I don't remember exactly what the price of 87 was, but I'm thinking $2.39.9.

    Regular vs Premium Gas Pricing

Depends on who owns the station. Those owned by a certain ethnicity are sometimes $1.50 higher, luring you in with lower regular price only to greatly jack up the price of premium!

    Silverado cabin air filter

It wasn't that hard. Had to do a little prying with a long screwdriver to get the shock absorber off and then to pry the left side of the box to get the box out because it was a little stiff from the cooler weather. I replaced it with a SuperTech from Walmart. Fit was just fine. I probably won't...

    Silverado cabin air filter

Finally got around to changing the cabin air filter on my 2020 Silverado with 63,800 miles. Could have been worse.
