Saab appearently stopped importing their 0W 30 which was Mobil 1. They now are having Mobil bottle the 0W 40 in Saab bottles. It's too bad because the Saab Turbo 0W 30 was a great oil as my UOA's showed. So we are just left with the M1 0W 40 which is fine but I was wondering if there are any...

So what do all of these tests mean? What is an ACEA, MB 229, or VW 502 spec? Who does these tests? What do they cost? Why do the "boutique" oil companies (Amsoil, etc.) not do the tests?
