2023 Mercedes GLE 350 oil weight

Every oil I have used and I’m talking about does carry the spec. I think viscosity does play a big role. The thickness is all over place. To me there is a big difference between 0W 20 and 0W 40 even though they both carry acceptable specs.

2023 Mercedes GLE 350 oil weight

It did not give viscosity just Mercedes specs which cover of variety of viscosities. Part of my issue also is I am OCD. I had first changed oil with 5W-30 and it seemed noisy to me. Then I changed it with 0W 20 because in the manual there was an Asterix next to that spec, which happened to be 0W...

2023 Mercedes GLE 350 oil weight

Does anyone know what the factory fill oil weight is for the 2023 GLE 350 4cyl turbo? I changed the oil and put 5/30 in and the engine seemed noisy. I changed the oil again with 0/20 and it still seems noisy. It gets extremely noisey right before it shifts at around 3K RPM. Both oils I used met...

Using Lucas 20/50 break in oil all the time

    I didn’t want a wild build. It’s a 65 Impala boat. I just wanted a cruiser

Using Lucas 20/50 break in oil all the time

No. Its in a 65 Impala convertible. I wanted a nice driver. Yes on the dyno. There are many more pages I just took a picture of the cover sheet. It also has aluminum heads with the specs you saw. So I will switch to the 10/40. He is a old drag racer so maybe that is why he told me 20/50

Using Lucas 20/50 break in oil all the time

He told me yes that it was broken in on the dyno. Yet he was insisting that I keep using the 20/50 Break in Oil in the summer because it has the highest zinc. I search the net and see nothing about anyone using break in oil all the time. I keep reading that too much zinc will corrode so I am...

Using Lucas 20/50 break in oil all the time

I have all the dyno stuff but nothing on clearances. Just kicking around switching to 10/40. Not sure why he is telling me 20/50 in summer.

Using Lucas 20/50 break in oil all the time

Was not cheap and he builds race motors for local racers. It is not a roller. I am alos questioning if I should be using 20/50

Using Lucas 20/50 break in oil all the time

I had a 383 professionally built and dynoed for my 65 Impala. The builder is telling me to use Lucas 20/50 Break in Oil all the time because it has the highest zinc content. Using "break in oil" all the time sounds wrong to me. People are also telling me that is too heavy of an oil to use. He...

    2020 CRV 1.5 TGDI oil

From my understanding it is in the programing for the fuel injectors, something so the car comes up to temperature quicker, and something to do with the climate control system (not sure why). People with the 17-18 are claiming that they must have done more stuff because they had their cars...
