Does your lawn guy mow when it's too wet?

I would think that the main problem with mowing wet grass is that you will have a lot of wet grass packed up under the mower deck. But just clean it out. I don't know if it would result in a poor cut on the lawn, that is uneven or choppy. That might matter for those folks who are persnickety...

Need quality clutch master and/or slave cylinder

My son and I bought a 1992 Mustang LX 5.0 with a 5-speed. It has a cable clutch linkage and I love it. I wish then had never gone to hydraulic. So much easier to work on mechanical linkage.

    Just bought a 2008 Fusion

K&N is way too much hassle to clean. Maybe there is a paper cone filter that would fit. I looked at the wheels and they are 18-inch, which is not an option that I can tell for 2008. 17-inch was the largest. Also came with practically new Goodyear Eagle tires.

Need quality clutch master and/or slave cylinder

Miss my first truck with hydraulic clutch linkage which was a 1984 F150. It had the slave on the outside of the tranny. I changed out the clutch and didn't even have to bleed it. Just removed if from the mount and put it back when I was done. I had some 170,000 miles on that truck when I sold it...

Need quality clutch master and/or slave cylinder

Fixed it! Got rid of the Ranger back in October and bought my son's 2001 Chevy S10 5-speed manual. The clutch in the S10 works great. I notice where the Ranger has the clutch master cylinder in a near vertical position, the S10 clutch master is dead level. There is going to be a much easier...

Ran Motorhome 200 miles with severe tranny leak

Memorial weekend I got up from Detroit to Grayling, Michigan, about 200 miles away, only to find the tranny so low it would not take off in drive, but had to put it in first gear to move out from a stop. I put a gallon in and still did not see it on the stick. Put a second gallon in and a few...

What manual tranny did you cut your teeth on?

My first manual transmission vehicle was a 1963 Chevy Biscayne I got from my grandfather in 1977. It was a 6 cylinder and had a three speed column shift with non-syncro first gear. Have had a manual ever since: '63 Chevy Biscayne 3-speed column '77 F100 3-speed column '84 F150 4-speed OD floor...

Need quality clutch master and/or slave cylinder

I have had it with Genuine Ford parts! Junk! So I had Mike at the other shop (not where the work was done) bleed it again. He said there are aluminum particles/shavings in the master cylinder. You can see a lot of tiny bright metallic things in the bottom of the reservoir. He has seen this...

Need quality clutch master and/or slave cylinder

I have had the system re bled several times now and still seems to be losing pedal. Worse, there is no way to tell where the air is getting in because it is not showing signs of leakage, which means I will have to replace both slave and master and probably not get any replacement under warranty...
