I think you're right about Hwy miles not making a difference in fuel dilution with these engines. I had another oil report a while back that had a lot more Hwy miles than the previous sample and fuel dilution went up! Not sure on oil temps. Don't have a gauge.

No you can see on the report that shows previous data that in July 2023 I switched to this ESP 0w30 and have been running it ever since. Viscosity went up in July when I switched from 0W-20 to 0W-30.

Yeah from my experience Blackstone is about 3 times lower on their fuel dilution reporting than other labs that use the GC method to determine fuel dilution. So if they report 2.0%, it is more than likely 6.0%...😳 That's a huge difference in my opinion.

I already cleaned it when I removed it. A couple black "specks" of something in media and nothing on strong magnet other than smudge of grey when I ran my finger across it. Have never gone over 3000mi using this filter.

Funny you mention copper. I sent the same exact sample to OA/Horizon and they have copper going down not up....😂

Check this out. Without the Baxter unit, every time you start your Subaru, the oil filter is empty. This video pretty much backs up that you want a full oil filter every time you start.
