JUST LIKE ALL THE RETAILERS JUSTIFIED INCREASING THERE PRICES BECASUE OF GAS PRICES BUT FEW IF ANY DROPPED THERE PRICES WHEN GAS PRICES DROPPED.

THE ONLY THING POSSIBLE IS THE ADDITIVE PACKAGE WAS IN THE RETAIL CONTAINERS AND THE BASE OIL WAS THE SAME. THE ONLY LOGOS ON THE DRUMS WERE SYNTHETIC AND DINO. BUT SEEMS LIKE ALOT OF WORK TO DO IT LIKE THAT

i used to work at a packaging plant the oil came from the same exact drums went into 4 different containers. work at hickman eggs and shamrock dairy too. all the eggs you get all the milk you get are exactly the same just different containers. walmart brand milk comes from shamrock frys safeway...

pp qs and walmarts brand super tech synthetic are all the same exct oil. pp $23.50 for a 5 quart jug. Q $18 5 quart jug. supertech synthetic $17.50 5 quart jug. the pp is more because of advertising. they are all xactly the same oils its cheaper for them to package them in different containers...

the pressure wasnt significant. i drive my truck 150+ miles a day so i know it pretty well . its got a dummy indicator with normal across it. it was running between the o and r. sometimes it would get down to the middle of the o. now it is consistantly in between the r and m. i changed oils too...

i am going to use royal purple for as long as i can afford it. although it has almost doubled in price over the last couple years which is upsetting.

according to royal purple your first 2-3 oci are supposed 2 be 3k-4k miles because the oil is cleaning and flushing the engine. then after that your ocis can be 12k miles. your uoa would be poor the first ane or 2 then should get better anyone actually do this and what were ur results

i agree with you . i aslo thought bad uoa might actually mean the oil is doing a good job cleaning the engine. interested to see a uoa on 4-5 oci of royal purple
