I think what's confusing with the 2018-2023 Traverse headlamp assemblies is the daytime running lights in them are LED. The turn signal bulbs in them are incandescent and the low/high beams are HID. All in one housing with removable HID ballasts. It's a bag of GM goodness right there. LOL

Sticking to the list provided in the OP, I think everyone would agree that a pentastar and ZF8 would be the longest lasting of the powertrains in that list. As much as I love our recently purchased 2021 Traverse, I like it most because it was easily $10K less than comparable 2021 Durango.

My inlaws have had GY Reliants on their 2021 Nissan Rogue for about 10K miles now. Doing great so far. I mail-ordered them through Walmart for them.

I believe his is an LS model, so it should have the old school HIDs unless Chevy indeed did the switch-a-roo sometime after 2021.

Are you sure on the headlamps for your 2023? Last I knew, the 2023 had the same headlamps as the 2018-2022. HID, not LED.

There was a Dave'e Auto Center channel video a month or so back where they had one of these newer GDI 5.6's torn down. My brain locked up at the sight of the top end on this engine. Some weird looking stuff all up in there.

Did you replace cam phasers? Is bank one the cylinder head that is further forward? I wonder if you can double check which side is misfiring based on O2 sensor scan data.
