I used to live on the gulf. Its nowhere near as humid as where I live now. Last night was over 80% and I consider that "dry". The seats have never bothered me.
It has excellent air conditioning, or did you mean ventilated seats? I have had a lot of cars with them, and while I wish this had it, it's not bad as the seats are some sort of faux suede.
So, Ive made 2 commutes. Ive got one more commute to make. Im at 33%. My math says she'll do it! That will be about 240mi on CC2 tires (about 7.5% less efficient than psas4s, which got me 257mi calculated when I was at only about 16k miles. As evidenced by my 3.4mi/kwh. If I make it home at...
Assets are security, too. Also, if you never bought a place...where are you now, even aside those "whatifs"? Also...dont goof. Noone is coming to save you.
Eh, I come at it from the section 8 mindset. Mom's 65, and always will be. I see people die every day. Im going to buy and do what I want. Never know when its my turn. Also, if you're not buying or doing something fun, that sucks. Save up for what?
IMO, winter favors EV. Superior traction. Instant cabin heat. Can "idle" without producing fumes. Very efficient if stuck/stranded (also see: not dying of carbon monoxide). Can be preheated in closed garage.
HmG engineers have stated I should get 160-180k miles before it really has an issue. As a matter of fact, I'm currently doing a range test. I am on track for covering 245 actual miles of daily commute on 100% charge with a few percent left over, in 90f weather eith hvac running at 68f in the...
All it will take is a pro-ev legislature piece and some event that spikes gas prices for 6+ months and its going to be a landslide conversion to EV.
Mature designs from EU divisions of current US marketed brands will exist.
EVs are cheaper than ICE vehicles at the same luxury and performance...
Tbis is what I meant by thermal efficiency in a modern 800v system. We see the temp before I leave, and after my 40mi /58min commute in 90f weather. No active cooling, just passive. Even in these temps, the hvac running, the battery pack only gained 8f during a 40mi, 1hr nearly trip. This is...
It really is kindof the "easy button" to simply buy an 11 second car like mine and just stomp a mudhole in pretty much everything near stock no matter what it costs except for a few of the high end P cars etc. A Plaid is a mid 4-second 60-130 car and takes a boatload of mods to tangle with even...
I've seen a lot of them, and frankly prefer the DBX707 greatly. Even the styling of my EV6 GT, which Ferrari seems to have copied significantly, isn't really a strong point of the car except that it's excellent at high speed aero.
100% this. I have stopped viewing them as performance cars, because they kindof suck at being that, but for a "vibes car"? Peerless, and this is peak Ferrari.
Meh. My Kia is just as quick. It doesn't sound quite as good though, rofl! Sweet find! Also, super lame how they stole Kia's aero, but it works really well. Mine is dead stable at 150+.
I have noted that the "refresh" cars I have all looked at have what I consider standard for industry at this price point fit/finish. I am pleasantly surprised. If they put a real interior in them, I'd have a hard time saying anything bad about it. Just slap the Model S dash in there and it's G2G.
