    AMALIE Motor Oils

Has anyone had experience with this brand of oil? There oils look interesting to me and I wanted to try out the 5W-40 and 10W-30 in my cars, prices seem resonable. Any comments are appreciated! Thanks! 1966 Chrysler New Yorker 440c.i. Spanish Red Metallic

RP High Performance Marine (HPM) 4-stroke

I use and recommend Mystik oils-I've been using these for about 5 years now and am totally satisfied. The easiest way to get these is internet cart to your home! 2nd choice is Pennzoil Marine HD 4 cycle. My experience-Salt water boater on East Coast Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay (40+...

    Pennzoil's new web site

Yeah, and why can't Pennzoil make a section for their Pennzoil Marine products?? Very frustrating, they make many great marine products and it's like they don't exist on the website? I only find out about these items at my local Western Auto.

Ok to run Shell Nautilus pwc synthetic in outboard

For 2 strokes, PWC 2 stroke oil is a Low Ash type, with additives for higher heat loads and rpms. This is not the best oil for a watercooled outboard motor. Best to just use a TCW3 outboard oil, which has a different chemistry for low rpm and lower heat loads and won't leave the deposits like a...

    Honda GCV160 oil draining proceedure

I like the 'small engine model' of the vacuum oil extractor I got at Lowes, ~ $25.00. Nice leather seals, it really is so easy and no chance of spills. I can hold several OC in it's tank for emptying later to recycling. No tipping or lifting the mower, no sweat! "LiquiVac model 2005"

    Need Boat Trailer Bearing Grease

Also, for marine environmental protection, the calcium based greases are less harmful, while giving great service. Hard to beat the Pennzoil (also makes the Lubrimatic?). Some of the other brands mentioned do not offer TDS sheets for review, so comparisions are not possible . I only use...

    Need Boat Trailer Bearing Grease

I just serviced my trailer hubs, I have used Citgo SuperGuard Hi-Performance Marine Grease (AKA Mystik Hi performance Marine Grease) which is an Anhydrous Calcium grease. I also use Pennzoil Premium Plus Marine Grease which is a Calcium Sulfonate grease. The Pennzoil is a little better grease...

Amsoil Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil Vs. Stihl

Borticus; Yes, I have been torn on this point myself, Air Cooled but they say to use TCW3? I have to trust the engineers, but I like to do my own experiments. I am going to run some Lubrication Engineers Monolec 8104 next, this is a low ash TC rated oil, but the data sheet says OK for lawn...

Amsoil Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil Vs. Stihl

Hello; Which of the Stihl oils are you asking about? They make an ash-less "Ultra" synthetic that (I think ) is great oil but the price is really too high. Sorry I have no experience with the Amsoil. If you want a really good performance for the money check out Mystik Ultimate HP (ash-less...

    Stihl Motomix vs Trufuel 50:1

Sunoco Standard 110 $45.00 for 5 GALLONS- long shelf life, consistent quality, no oxygenators. Made for high rpm engines. My own oil of choice at MY choice of ratio- priceless. These quart cans are just not a good value at this time, maybe in five years after E15 is forced down our throats. I...

Morning; I was surprised to find this also, the items are 3 echo's (a trimmer and blower). I asked what oil he was using and he showed me the bottle of Klotz original techniplate-(not slamming Klotz, I think it was not used for the right application). These had sat for about 2 months, and we...
