    Bosch spark plugs

All the plugs I've used from Bosch either said "Germany" or "USA". I really think all the Bosch bashing is just the result of NGK internet marketing campaigns mostly. The reason I tend to believe it is because the striking similarity of postings when NGK and Bosch plugs come up in any car...

    4th waterpump?

I agree about the possibility of the mating surface being damaged or warped. If not that a bad batch of OEM pumps??? Keep us updated on this one.

    Lame car mfrs web sites

Got to be Volkswagen of America vw.com. COmpared to the excellent and informative German VW site along with the UK site. The VWoA site is a joke, and always has been. I love VW cars but the US distributor is the worst VW distributor in the entire developed world.

    Cabin air flow

Make sure you check the cabin "exhaust vents" at the rear end of the car. Most cars have these, many times they are located in the trunk or near the rear wheel wells (you may see a vent duct on the inside of the rear door frame). If they are clogged with debris you will get lots of condensation...

Filled up on Shell V-Power with Nitrogen this week

Unfortunately there are lots of dim witted people out there. I find the "nitrogen" campaign to be patronizing and insulting, even though I do think they make a quality product. I noticed that Shell uses radically different marketing campaigns from country to country. The US content seems to be...

Regane is the best value for the dollar. You pay through the putucka for Redline.

Filled up on Shell V-Power with Nitrogen this week

I'm not too sure WHY Shell went to this kind of marketing campaign. I believe that the nitrogen is a form of amine, related to the very same PEA (PEA is the most effective detergent when it comes to cleaning carbon desposits from fuel systems) that is a detergent used in a number of high...

    Bosch spark plugs

I wouldn't buy the stealth marketing drivel from posters bashing Bosch here. My bet is that some of these folks are marketing folks for NGK. I've used Bosch OEM parts in my various VWs for over 20 years now and never once had an issue. I will say that you should replace your parts with the...

    O2 sensor....

All this nonsense about Bosch parts being poor quality is absurd! Perhaps a few "stealth marketing" folks posting around the car sites over the past few years.? Bosch parts are very good quality on par with Denso (did you know that Denso and Bosch work in partnership as well?) The only thing...

    zMax fuel additive

Most "additives" today are snake oil. Only fuel adds with any real ability to clean carbon from dirty fuel and engine intakes are ones with PEA detergents. Techron Complete Fuel system cleaner Regane total fuel system cleaner Redline The above actually WILL clean and decarbon ...

Where can i find Gumout Regane in Canada?

For the price Regane has the most PEA for the dollar, followed by Techron. Redline is way overpriced!!!!!!!! Especially since regane and redline have about the same percentage of PEA.
