so just stick w/gtx for now and in the future go with gtx start up protection? I dont car about an "easier" start up. I just heard it wears out your engine a lot when you first start it up that's why I was wondering if putting some oil treatment would do the same job as gtx (with start up...

I haven't even mentioned syntec blend. I've been asking if there is a big difference between gtx and gtx start up. Anything worth paying the extra 70 cents for? Or could stp oil treatment turn my regular gtx into an oil that could have some more start up protection. etc?

well i would exchange except i got a good deal on it. i was just wondreing if gtx with start up protection is worth paying 75 cents more than regular gtx and is it really supposed to help w/engine wear. my friend told me to get stp engine oil treatment and that it would do the same thing castrol...

? and since i already bought gtx are there any safe oil additives that I could put in to basically make it like gtx w/start up protection?

90% is due to start up? lol that sucks, so on some uoa's it doesnt show good wear #'s? i'm gonna open a new post about start up.

What is A3 ? and does Castrol Gtx meet those standards? Does A3 certified mean it's like a world of difference from GF-4? thanks

I know the sale is 5 quarts of gtx with 1 bosch filter for 12.99 in autozone. so u dont think i could do 5k w/this?

well u can get coastal for like 1.20 and gtx is usually around 2.69 so it's quite more. and coastal isn't even shelf oil. what should i look for to c if it will even make it to 5koci? besides a uoa

lol. well that's where the sacrifice comes in. if ur gonna do 3 month/3k than u should prob go w/any kind of oil like the ppl on these forums say. if ur gonna get an expensive oil it is specifically designed to last longer. 4k on a good oil is prob the same as 2k on a shelf/regular one. What...
