New to me 2021 Chevy Traverse

Luckily starting in the 22 model year they just have a switch you can hit everytime you start it to shut it off. Just got a new 23 traverse and it has the start/stop shutoff . I wouldnt have bought it if it didnt . It is a bit of a pain doing it everytime but I'm used to it because I have the...

Nu Finish - Second coat beneficial?

I dont know about looks wise if there is any improvement but if you put a second coat on it will bead and protect until next summer without issue . Love the stuff other than if you dont use a clean applicator you get a lot of little tiny white wax specs on it . Keep applicator and removal...

    Tried NuFinish Today ...

I agree I use this stuff . Dont particularly like the dusting but the protection and water beading will literally last 1.5 years on my cars though I do them twice a year . It shines as well as any other wax. this is really a polish anyway so it will clean the surface somewhat when you use it .

    Pentastar cold start moan/groan..

The cold start issue is addressed by TSB 07-002-15 Rev. A . This is for a cold start whine . It involves replacing the idler pulley. It should take them less than a half hour according to the time allowance on the TSB .

    How long does PYB clean?

What does the manual say for OCI ? I wouldn't go past that as if i remember correctly the 4.7 had some sludging issues in the past. But if it's made it to 190000 miles you probably don't have to worry about that .

    Best outboard you ever owned?

1986 Force (chrysler) 50 hp . Had it for 11 years , plugs and a couple of water pump impellers. Always started first time even after sitting all winter. Lot to be said for manual chokes. It was fairly noisy compared to todays silent 4 strokes but it ran great and I could run all day on a 6 gallon...

We just got a 2014 GC AVP and you get a lot for a about $21000. We did get one with 2nd row stow and go , nice option . Thing is big if you need the room . The pentastar has a lot guts and the 6 speed seems ok , shifts thru the gears fast , guess thats how they save gas. We have front only air...

Have a brand new 2014 GC 1000 miles and it does the same thing when started cold and it's not even cold out right now .Dont hear it all if the engine is warm . Last usually less than a minute but sounds like garbage while it's happening. To me it seems...

    Sentry Fuel Treatments

I use this stuff , it works great and would use nothing else. The only issue I have seen is with my 4.3 liter V6 boat which is carburated and it is making it idel a little faster than it should. Put it in my car and it added at least 2.5 mpg .

Could these people all be wrong?

I used to use it some years and there was "no" doubt that the stuff smoothed out the vibrations from the engine and it ran cooler. Never did any harm to the engine and less vibration and heat can only be good. You just have to determine if you want to spend an extra $12 a oil change for it. It's...
