Porsche C40 / VW511 00 Oil requirement.

Porsche C40 / VW511 00 Oil requirement.
Our Cayenne S comes with Mobil 1 C40 0w40 in it, as do all new Porsches. This is a marketing relationship between the two companies. Are there other oils with the same published rating that are any better lubricants. It seems the term “synthetic” has been turned on its head over the decades...- Oldbro
