Super tech is $18.50 for 5 quarts. Kirkland is often like $17. With rebates I often get $13+$15 for 5 quarts of Pennzoil ultra platinum, Castrol gtx e.t.c. so yes paying $27 for 5 quarts unless it's Valvoline Restore and Protect is not worth it.

If the car records the hours sure. The average car does not have an hour meter, that's usually a truck thing, and we want a simple reading not going through obdii to get it.

I tried it. it feels solid, its thick like all the other carbon ones making it hard to see how clean it is, it probably reduced airflow slightly but not as bad as Bosch Hepa, ill stick with my $3 wix. non carbon, and by far the highest build quality of every filter ive tried.
