I'm leaning towards buying used mac, matco and cornwell tools now. I just am worried about them holding up the warranty because I am not the original owner, I know of people that got burned before on used tools by not having the original receipt.
How important is it to change your power steering fluid? And how would one go about changing it?
I'm curious about this because my fluid is very dark and grimy, and I'm worried about it eating my pump and seals up.
I have a jon boat and I want to make it all one big platform to cast off of. It is a 14ft and it leaks a little, I will get a bilge pump for the leaks, or I will try and TIG weld it. Any ideas on how to do this?
EDIT: I know it will be unstable, I will add stabilizers or maybe two trolling...
I have Goodyear wranglers now, I think they are okay, but my friend says that there are better tries out there. I've been told to stay away from coopers. I have heard good things about Michlin's and Firestones. I want good tread for offroad but nothing too crazy so it's still quite on the road.
What is the biggest filter I can run? I want to put a remote on one the truck to hold more oil and get better filtration, I'm thinking a semi oil filter.
What brands are best? I want a really high quality one. I have been looking at Kohler Eir and Innate toilets. I want a really nice one as this is the one place I have to myself.
