    Appears to me that Mobil 1 ESP does have API SP approval. It is listed on the bottle. Maybe you’re thinking about 0w30 that’s SL?

    You might try buying your own oil/filter and asking your dealer what they would charge to change it. I’m sure it varies (probably a lot), but it’s rather cheap where I live.

    Mobil ESP 0w-30 is easiest to find at my WalMart. No other C3 oils currently available actually on the shelf.

    Meets SP Engine Test Requirements, but must have some level of something to not be fully SP compatible or it would say simply API SP. 0w-30 is only SL.

    Why not? Seems like a better oil. If you require SP, can always go with ESP 5w-30.

    I believe Euro L is 5w30 and the Euro LX is 0w30.
