I had a Amsoil bypass on my 4.7 (2000) worked great! It took more than 5000 miles to even start to see a darkening of the oil. I ran 1 change 25k but usually only 10k. I would sell that setup & extra filter now that I no longer have the truck.

Success! I got Etcher to work so far... I was downloading it from the wrong place(?) anyway I'll go try it on the pc that is the target.

Yes I tried that too. Rufus says only for a PC with no operating system. This one has Win10. I would format it for a clean install but I want to try a version of Linux first. Looks like Etcher is for Apple?

I didn't have any luck with etcher, the instructions are sketchy and/or it really doesn't "do" anything. Likely my fault but I tried it a few times.

I followed instructions from Linux/Mint. PC says there is no operating system on usb or the dvd I used. Not much fun creating that but I finally got it, then it won't boot.
