It doesn’t matter really. I certainly don’t run it as aggressive as a race car or anything. But it is fun. I guess I do have more opportunity in TX to open it up compared to NYC, but Im sure there are plenty of AMG’s in the city also.

It’s not a race oil, just regular passenger car motor oil, not plus, premium, euro, or supercar. It will be fine. But not a lot of mileage on this car. I will probably change it early.

I did consider it. M1 is what was already in the car. The oil was purchased from advlubrication.com, with a forum discount. I’m not sure why it came in bottles that are a different color. Are you suggesting that it is not genuine?

These filter element cartridge style filters, or whatever they’re called, are pretty neat. Looks pretty good, no sludge or particulates otherwise. Also have a couple containers to send out for UOA and VOA, first time ever doing that!

FCP sent the OEM Hengst filters, instead of the upgraded synthetic media filters. I used the Hengst filter because it was the same exact thing as what I pulled out. Mercedes don’t actually make their own filters anyway. It is SO annoying after adding around 9 quarts of oil, have to figure out...

Well FCP delivered the wrong oil filters to me today. Pretty disappointing for my first order. May have to put off my overdue OC for another week or so.

Would love to have a V12 Benz someday. Very nice! Super Car and Euro lines are priced pretty much the same also, so you might be right. I did some more reading and looks like Euro might be low SAPS and Super Car full SAPS. But it probably doesn’t matter for my non diesel application anyway.
