Normal ringland deposits aren't a feature to lowering oil consumption. Excessive deposits cause problems like poor ring seal, hot spots, clogged oil control rings and other unwanted behaviors.
I'll be doing VOA and UOA on a F-Type soon using the TopTec from liquid moly. I'm skeptical of the Jaguar OCI, their specification and the -20 viscosity, so want to get some real data.

Be sure to do the conversion math, since it won't be 1:1 on the charge from r12 to r134a.
Easy option, use something that meets the manufacturer guidelines on oil specification.
Harder option, do tons of research, then obsess and send oul samples for lab analysis. Compare results.
