Anyone have experience with Llumar CTX vs IRX tint?

I am specifically concerned with heat rejection though.

Anyone have experience with Llumar CTX vs IRX tint?

I have two options from two shops. Llumar CTX from one and the better Llumar IRX for +$100 from the other shop. My main concern is heat rejection. I am curious if the heat rejection difference is noticable between this two tints and if the IRX is worth the extra money.

2014 Kia Rio does not like to start properly in the extreme cold.

Would the brake switch have any effect? Auto trans cars start without the brake depressed....

Problem does not go away when block heater is used.

2014 Kia Rio does not like to start properly in the extreme cold.

I cannot believe I never thought to bench test the old starter in the extreme cold. How do I test a relay?

2014 Kia Rio does not like to start properly in the extreme cold.

My 2014 Kia Rio does not like to start easily in the cold, and the behaviour is really wierd. There is a problem that is not obvious. In temps colder that -22C the car will not start. There is just a click with no cranking. The odd thing is, that as soon as the car warms up past -20C, the car...

Idler pulley play in Accent plastic pulley.

I ended up just getting a new Gates pulley. When I pulled the old one, I could see there was more play than the new part. Glad I pulled it.

Idler pulley play in Accent plastic pulley.

I am in the "ahead of time camp" since I go on long roadtrips. Though now I am worried because I ordered a Gates pulley, and apparently they can have poor Chinese bearings.

Idler pulley play in Accent plastic pulley.

I just replaced my sepentine belt on my Hyundai accent, and I noticed there was a small amount of back and fourth play in the idler pulley in the direction of the pulley , orthagonal to rotation axis. My friend says that is actually normal for some of the new types of plastic idler pulley's on...

    Transmission hard downshift.

As stated a few comments up, this was the solution. I can't believe resetting the values solved such a pronounced issue....

    Transmission hard downshift.

I used my scanner to reset the adaptive shift. After a vigourous test drive, the problem is gone. I did not expect that result. Time will tell, but yesterday I could reliably reproduce the hard downshift at a precise speed, and after the reset I could not once reproduce. I found the ATF temp...

    Transmission hard downshift.

Could be. Some points though, I think this was always occuring, just I never figured out how to reproduce....now I am fixated on it lol. Point two, is that maxlife has a viscosity of 5.9 @100c, the Eneos SP4 sepcific fluid is 5.75 @100c, and the Idemitsu SP4 specific fluid is 5.31 @100C. Are...

    Transmission hard downshift.

I measured what came out and put the same back in. Then I let the engine run till at operating temp, and then checked the level port and there was a steady trickle.

    Transmission hard downshift.

I have visually inspected the mounts and they seem good. But TBH this feels like 100% a hard transmission downshift. Level is confirmed to be good via check level port. Another note, this problem only occurs when transmission is at operating temp. When it is cool the problem is not reproducible.

    Transmission hard downshift.

It is anything but a normal downshift though. Its not like I have never punched it in an auto transmission before. In regards to not doing that, it is literally required in this slow car for freeway driving.

    Transmission hard downshift.

I have a 2015 Hyundai Accent with a 6-speed auto transmission. I just did two drain and fill with maxlife, but I am pretty sure this has occured before that, and now I am just really focused on the problem. The transmission shifts smooth almost all the time. But at certain speeds , if I...
