    I don't understand how wrapping one media over another is going to mitigate filter clogging? Only thing I can imagine is a pre-filter for collecting the "rocks" and a secondary filter. Detroit Diesel did this with their fuel filters.

    0w has them all covered...OH. Forgot. 0w is too thin for warm climates.

    Yea, but that's the ARMY... Trust me. 0w-xx WILL replace 5w. It's already happening.
