    Broken power steering pulley shaft!

Nah- GM cheaped out on the pump shaft somehow. Maybe a sharp machined edge or something. Lots of other hydroboost applications with no problems.

    Broken power steering pulley shaft!

Hydroboost, power steering, maybe a metric design change for the pump. Back then GM used a big parts bin- the Sag PS pumps were common accross the lineup but you didn't hear about breakage on other models. I don't know- but of all the pump failures, I thought it was unusual.

The Current New Truck Market Is In Trouble

I have been fortunate to drive a nicely built 4L60E, unfortunately it magnifies the faults of lesser trans. My 6L90 was rebuilt and has not been 'right' ever since. Or it may just need a good tune from someone other than oem.

Detroit Truetrac in 2002 F-350 - viscosity question

I know this is an oil forum..... I called eaton years ago about using synthetics and they gave me the same answer. I run these in chevies and toy's and use the oil spec from the truck co. As long as the diff isn't making noise, no debris in diff and service is regular- with a quality synthetic...
