Well .. That might depend on the actual synthetic content of T5 oils. I'm guessing the 50/50 mixture of T4/T6 will have higher synthetic content, but who knows ??

Sold Victory's, then Indians for a few years after retiring. The Victory's were superior bikes.

Thanks for the info. So I'm guessing that this Castrol 10w50 I ordered in July 2023 has a date of Jan. 19, 2023? I'll use the (4) quarts of 10w50 this spring, and the (4) quarts of 10w40 next spring. No more stockpiling. I'll only ordered as needed :)

I had one a few years back. I put on about 1K miles on it, including a 225 mile day trip. I'm 6'3"/36" inseam and I could tolerate the long distance. Did plenty of mods before selling it to buy a KTM 390 Duke. It had no problem going 55mph on level ground.

I was going to suggest a quart of Rotella T5 5w40, but it's tough to find 1 quart containers anymore. And using only 10-13 ounces per drain/fill, a gallon jug is not practical. Heck, just go to the dealer and buy a quart of XPS 5w40. They now have it in full synthetic if that's an option...
