When you factor in shipping or free shipping they all come out to around $20. There are filters on Rockauto that are over half that price but I prefer to stick with brands that I know.

Its not a mystery to me whats happening. Whats happening is drop shipping. Autozone takes the order and the money...sends a note to Premium Guard which handles the rest. Its good to know that it is being sent from Premium Guard in TN.

I just got an update! Its being shipped direct from Premium Guard. Keep in mind...I never ordered from Premium Guard...I ordered from Autozone! I did NOT order Premium Guard oil filters...I ordered STP MAX through Autozone.

WARNING ABOUT AUTOZONE...I am so used to how RockAuto does business. RockAuto will ship it right away oftentimes I will get it next day or in 2 days. RockAuto always seems to get the shipment to FedEx or UPS FAST! As if the UPS or Fedex plant is next door! Autozone is NOT the same way...

I just bought a dozen of these filters online. If I get them.and they Champ Labs they going straight back to Autozone. I have watched all the cut open videos out there and this filter is probably the best made. Its a matter of price. At $16 for Carquest EP I was like...nope...but at under 10...
